Our One City Plan can only be achieved if it is coordinated and aligned across organisations that are invested and mandated to deliver a positive impact on the city by 2045.

The plan is being delivered by the Council, the private and public sectors, and our residents.

Our remit focuses on creating a city accessible for all users, with seamless transport links which improve quality of life and help create a healthier, greener and fairer Chester.

This group focusses on strategic transport opportunities, integrated travel options, mobility as a service, safe routes and wayfinding.

This builds on the work of the Integrated Sustainable Transport Task Force to take forward projects and initiatives which promote an accessible city. It will do this through the expansion and enhancement of public transport, the development and promotion of active travel, delivering digital infrastructure and the roll out of new electric vehicle and parking infrastructure.

Work group lead:

Chris Hardwick - Head of Strategic Transport and Infrastructure, Cheshire West and Chester Council
