Resources
Our One City Plan can only be achieved if it is coordinated and aligned across organisations that are invested and mandated to deliver a positive impact on the city by 2045.
The plan is being delivered by the Council, the private and public sectors, and our residents.

Being in Chester
Being in Chester
This group embraces a Team Chester approach to coordinate, manage and respond to issues in the city; including response to safety, protecting and safeguarding the environment and regulatory services.
This builds on the success of the collaborative networks that evolved during the Covid-19 pandemic that provided a coordinated and effective approach to city centre management.
Its focus will be creating and maintaining a safe, clean and green city, overseeing and coordinating janitorial functions, ensuring a fair, supportive and enabling regulatory regime, public and private sector management of the public realm, and joining up visible frontline services.
